99 things to do in Madison this summer

Posted on

I got 99 problems … but how to enjoy summer in Madison ain’t one!

I had so much fun researchingΒ 99 things to do in Madison this summer for the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau (and they did an amazing job designing this web page, too).

From old favorites (the Memorial Union, Babcock ice cream and Dane County dog parks) to items still on my bucket list (Allen Centennial Gardens, Movies in the Park and the Monona Community Pool), there’s no excuse to ever be bored in Madison.

#100DaysOfGilmoreGirls

Everyone was so excited about the four new episodes of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on Netflix, I thought I ought to give it a try. I watched 156 episodes in 100 days and tweeted about every single one.

My review: I think my reaction to this series would have been very different if I’d watched its original airing, when I was Rory’s age in the series, in college and in love with Dawson’s Creek.
