This spring, I had the pleasure of profiling 13 exceptional Wisconsin women for the March issue of Madison Magazine. The list of legendary ladies included 10 historic figures – like World War II resistance fighter Mildred Fish-Harnack and social justice leader Vel Philips – as well as three local contemporary women in business:
- Entrepreneur and professional stylist Francesa Johnson of Makeup by Francesca
- Salon owner and master hairstylist Jesse Marcks of Au Fait
- Assistant director of client services at Terso Solutions, Lindsey Kromm
